50/50 Friday - Best/Worst Alternate Cover

50/50 is hosted right here and over at Blue Eye Books

What is 50/50 Friday?

Everyone has a favorite and then we also have something we dislike. Like a coin, there are two sides to every question. Example: best sequel you've read/worst sequel you've read. So that's what 50/50 Friday is all about. We will have a new topic every Friday. If you have have ideas for this meme don't be scared to let me know!

Best/Worst Alternate Cover

I actually got the idea for this one from the series that I'm currently reading. I hate the original covers, they are so cringy to me. But, I really like the UK cover that I've seen and even own a few of. So I hope you are having a wonderful day and let's just get right into this!

Best Alternate Cover

I know most everyone has a soft spot for the original covers but I don't. I just started reading HP when my partner got me to in 2015. I've still never finished the series, it's just not my thing really. I know, that's one of the worst things a bookworm can say but I've always been weird. That being said, I love the cover on the right, it's just so damn pretty.

Worst Alternate Cover

Another unpopular opinion... gosh, I'm full of them. Anyway, I prefer the one of the left, the original cover rather than the remake they tried. Just not as cool to me.

  1. The UK cover for HP#1 is definitely more classy.

  2. I kind of hate both covers for the Lux series. Mostly because that's now how I pictured Daemon when reading the book regardless of the cover model, I also kind of hate how the OG cover makes Katy kind of a faceless character. When she is one of my favorite female characters in a YA series. She's such a smart ass, lol.

  3. I also really didn't like the remake covers for the Lux series. It's cool that the faces all fit together but other than that, I feel like it didn't really say anything about the story. Also, I've never seen that HP cover before and I love the yellow and red together!
