Music Monday - The 80's (6)

This meme is hosted over at Always Me

This is the last of the 80's. So I will be showing off more than two songs. Hope you enjoy!

Favorite Lyrics

All the school kids so sick of books
They like the punk and the metal band
When the buzzer rings (oh whey oh)
They're walking like an Egyptian

Favorite Lyrics

So they came into the outway
It was Sunday - what a black day
Mouth to mouth
Sounding heartbeats - intimidation

Favorite Lyrics

Darkness falls across the land
The midnight hour is close at hand
Creatures crawl in search of blood
To terrorize y'all's neighborhood
And whosoever shall be found
Without the soul for getting down
Must stand and face the hounds of hell
And rot inside a corpse's shell

Favorite Lyrics

Well if you told me you were drowning, I would not lend a hand
I've seen your face before my friend, but I don't know if you know who I am
Well I was there and I saw what you did, I saw it with my own two eyes
So you can wipe off that grin, I know where you've been
It's all been a pack of lies

Favorite Lyrics

He's a coldhearted snake lookin into his eyes
Oh, oh he's been telling lies he's a lover boy at play
He don't play by the rules oh, oh, oh
Girl don't play the fool now

  1. When I was a pre-teen I love Thriller. I was always excited when I heard it on the radio.

    1. Thriller is one of those songs that still gets me excited when I hear it on the radio! A true classic!

  2. Music Monday on Tuesday for me. I danced, indeed I did! People talk trash about the 80s and some of it is true, but the music, my lord. I loved how MJ started that thing of spitting out so many words so fast, leading up to rap. Thanks for a fun half hour! And wasn't it the Thriller video that started MTV?

    1. Yes MJ has so many amazing talents. There will never be another like him. I'm not sure if he was or not but do I ever miss MTV back when it was actually MTV.
