50/50 Friday - Best/Worst Read of July

What is 50/50 Friday?
Everyone has a favorite and then we also have something we dislike. Like a coin, there are two sides to every question. Example: best sequel you've read/worst sequel you've read. So that's what 50/50 Friday is all about. I'll have a new topic every Friday. If you have have ideas for this meme don't be scared to let me know!

Topic for the Week
Best/Worst Read of July

I've not read much this month as I've been writing like crazy. I finished my second novel and it's so freaking bittersweet. Most of the books I read where all middle of the road but there were two stand outs for different reasons.

Best Read
(Review)
Why Be Happy When You Could Be Normal?

Worst Read
Llewellyn's Little Book of Unicorns
This wasn't a bad book just not quite what I thought it would be. Review is coming soon and will explain more.

  2. I haven't read either of those. I've had a few good reads recently but I'm sure I'll have at least one that I don't like this month.

  3. Do you mean you finished writing your second novel? If so, that is awesome. I went and read that chapter you posted in July. I think you've got the style down. Good luck with whatever plans you have for these novels!!

  4. I look forward to your review of Llewellyn's Little Book of Unicorns, Carrie! The title sounds so interesting so I'm curious to hear why you weren't really satisfied with it. Also, congratulations on finishing your novel!!!
