Best/Worst Read of September - 50/50 Friday

What is 50/50 Friday?
Everyone has a favorite and then we also have something we dislike. Like a coin, there are two sides to every question. Example: best sequel you've read/worst sequel you've read. So that's what 50/50 Friday is all about. I'll have a new topic every Friday. If you have have ideas for this meme don't be scared to let me know!

50/50 Friday turns three years old in just a few days (10/7/2016). I can't believe this meme has been alive this long... my mind is blown! Thanks to everyone who joins and plays along. This meme would've died long ago without you.

Worst Read of the Month
This might be cheating considering I DNFed it and didn't actually read it but I'm putting it here. Why did I DNF it? Well, the very first paragraph talked about her wanting to go do drugs. So I figured the rest of the book would be the same stuff. Not for me at all.

Best Read of the Month
This is so hard to choose! I have six 5 star reads this month! That's quite a lot for me! I'm a harsh judge! So I'll list the names of all the five star reads with links to the Goodreads if you want to know more. I will only the feature the cover of the book I loved the most. Which was so freaking hard to choose!

  2. I've read some really good books this month but it takes a lot to impress me with a cover.

    1. Covers are so hard to do right I think. Most covers are just so boring to me.

  3. I had to choose between Holy Sister, Godsgrave, and Marrow Charm. I went with the more recent read (marrow charm) In part because I want more people to read it and Mark Lawrence and Jay Kristoff don't really need help getting people reading their books at this point.

    1. So true! Mark and Jay got lots of readers these days! Plus even I've not heard of Marrow Charm so I'm going to look into it!

  5. So great that you had so many bests! My best, best was The Lonely Hearts Hotel by Heather O'Neill (I thought of you the whole time I was reading it, you must read it!) Very, very close runner up was The Testaments by Margaret Atwood. Worse read was The Silent Patient, read for a reading group and it not for that I would have DNFed.
