Mini Review - Angel's Blood

USA Today bestselling author Nalini Singh introduces a world of beauty and bloodlust, where angels hold sway over vampires…

Vampire hunter Elena Deveraux knows she’s the best—but she doesn’t know if she’s good enough for this job. Hired by the dangerously beautiful Archangel Raphael, a being so lethal that no mortal wants his attention, only one thing is clear—failure is not an option…even if the task is impossible.

Because this time, it’s not a wayward vamp she has to track. It’s an archangel gone bad.

The job will put Elena in the midst of a killing spree like no other…and pull her to the razor’s edge of passion. Even if the hunt doesn’t destroy her, succumbing to Raphael’s seductive touch just may. For when archangels play, mortals break…

Book Breakdown

After I finished this book I sat back and wondered to myself, "Why did I take so long to read this book?" Because it's so good! I do think the romance was a wee rushed but that's my only knit-pick! Everything else is perfectly wonderful! You can never go wrong with a Naini Singh book, NEVER!

It's a fun novel that always keeps your interest, from the pain and suffering of Elena's past to hunting for vampires, to the romance that is really the heart of this story. I love her character, she's not scared to stand up for herself but she knows her limits. She's not supergirl but damn if she's not one strong badass female!

Plus, it's got vampires and angels. It's my perfect little paranormal dream come to life. The world is well flushed out and I know it's only going to get better as this series goes on. I can't wait to see the sass that Elena will give Raphael and the stuff they're going to get into next.

I can't wait to read more of this series! Bring it on!
