What is 50/50 Friday?
Everyone has a favorite and then we have something we dislike. Like a coin, there are two sides to every question. Example: best sequel you've read/worst sequel you've read. So that's what 50/50 Friday is all about. I'll have a new topic every Friday. If you have have ideas for this meme don't be scared to let me know!

Favorite/Least Favorite Read of May 2020
I read a lot of books in May, surprisingly, because I was very depressed, my daughter had a bad month, and well... I was just very very depressed. But I read a lot and they are some good ones here! There's also two I really hated. Let's talk about them!
With Daughter of Persephone, I wanted to try out a reverse harem because everyone goes on about them and I was thinking it would be something like a love triangle but no.... it was nothing like that at all. It's not my thing. I can say that. With Moon Called... I was so bored! I felt like nothing happened for so many pages and then it was so much info dumping and I didn't really like Mercy. So that's another no for me.
Poppy is nothing special.
She was making ends meet and trying to enjoy life. But a strange necklace caught her eye at the thrift store. Now, three gorgeous men have stumbled into her life, and she's torn between being terrified and excited. That is until they tell her she is the future queen of the Underworld.
Not only that, but she needs to bond with her hellhounds, the three heads of Cerberus, and protect the Underworld from a goddess who wants it for herself. Forced to face unnatural enemies, and too-sexy-for-their-own-good men, Poppy must choose: keep the life she's always had or take her rightful place as queen.
If she survives.
Mercedes Thompson, aka Mercy, is a talented Volkswagen mechanic living in the Tri-Cities area of Washington. She also happens to be a walker, a magical being with the power to shift into a coyote at will. Mercy's next-door neighbor is a werewolf. Her former boss is a gremlin. And she's fixing a bus for a vampire. This is the world of Mercy Thompson, one that looks a lot like ours but is populated by those things that go bump in the night. And Mercy's connection to those things is about to get her into some serious hot water...
I finally read Empire of Storms!!!! It's great by the way! Now, I'm wondering if I can skip Tower of Dawn and move onto Kingdom of Ash. All three of these are five star reads! And it's very diverse! A YA/NA Fantasy, a sports romance and a m/m romance! Fake Out has a lead that is unsure of what he is and it's fun to watch him comes to terms with what he is and fall in love. The Play is freaking banging! It's funny, heartfelt and the characters are always awesome! The next in this series comes out next month! I can't wait!!!!

In this breathtaking fifth installment of the New York Times bestselling Throne of Glass series, Aelin will have to choose what—and who—to sacrifice if she's to keep the world of Erilea from breaking apart.
When my sister asks me to pretend to be some straight guy’s boyfriend, my automatic response is to say no. It’s because of guys like him people don’t believe me when I tell them I’m gay.
But Maddox has something I need.
After an injury that cost me my baseball career, I’m trying to leave my playing days behind and focus on being the best sports agent I can be. Forty-eight hours with my sister’s best friend in exchange for a meeting with a possible client. I can do this.
I just wish he wasn’t so hot. Or that he didn’t kiss like he means it.
Wait … why is the straight guy kissing me?
What I learned after last year’s distractions cost my hockey team our entire season? No more screwing up. No more screwing, period. As the new team captain, I need a new philosophy: hockey and school now, women later. Which means that I, Hunter Davenport, am officially going celibate…no matter how hard that makes things.
But there’s nothing in the rulebook that says I can’t be friends with a woman. And I won’t lie—my new classmate Demi Davis is one cool chick. Her smart mouth is hot as hell, and so is the rest of her, but the fact that she’s got a boyfriend eliminates the temptation to touch her.
Except three months into our friendship, Demi is single and looking for a rebound.
And she’s making a play for me.
