Mini Review Monday - Kindling the Darkness

He wants redemption… She only knows damnation. Oliver Connery left a secret paramilitary group because he couldn’t stand the thought of torturing supernatural beings. Lucy Smok’s mission is to send infernal creatures back where they came from. When Lucy learns that Oliver has been harboring hellhounds, she wants to think of him as an enemy—and Oliver wants to think the same of her. But their feelings for each other are another story… Expected Release Date: August 7, 2018  Book Breakdown This title is one in a series of standalone novels from what I understand, so I didn't feel confused at all when the other characters came in. The romance is good but it didn't get in the way of the plot, most Harlequin books are romance first and plot second but not this one. Lucy and Oliver are very flushed out and well roun

I also don't know why on earth I even finished it. Just yuck. Best Read I never would've known about this book if it wasn't for the utter amazing TV show.

Carrier of the Mark - Review

Their love was meant to be. When Megan Rosenberg moves to Ireland, everything in her life seems to fall into place. After growing up in America, she's surprised to find herself feeling at home in her new school. She connects with a group of friends, and she is instantly drawn to darkly handsome Adam DeRÍs. But Megan is about to discover that her feelings for Adam are tied to a fate that was sealed long ago—and that the passion and power that brought them together could be their ultimate destruction. Book Breakdown   This book felt very early YA. If you've read YA since it really took off then you know what I mean. Everything feels very... compact and rather lack on some of the details. Then there is t
