50/50 Friday - Best/Worst Alternate Cover

50/50 is hosted right here and over at Blue Eye Books .  What is 50/50 Friday? Everyone has a favorite and then we also have something we dislike. Like a coin, there are two sides to every question. Example: best sequel you've read/worst sequel you've read. So that's what 50/50 Friday is all about. We will have a new topic every Friday. If you have have ideas for this meme don't be scared to let me know! Topic for the Week Best/Worst Alternate Cover I actually got the idea for this one from the series that I'm currently reading. I hate the original covers, they are so cringy to me. But, I really like the UK cover that I've seen and even own a few of. So I hope you are having a wonderful day and let's just get right into this!  Best Alternate Cover I know most everyone has a soft spot for the original covers but I don't. I just started reading HP when my partner got me to in 2015. I've still never finished the series, it's just not my thing really

My Top 6 Favorite Romance Tropes

So if you've been around here for any length of time, you'll know that I love romance. Not just the romance genre but romance in general. I usually love when romance is a subplot because I do need my action to keep me going. Which is one one of my favorite books of all time is A Court of Mist and Fury, romance heavy but it still has another plot going on.  That being said, I still do read just plain ld romance books too. Sometimes, I just want to sit back and watch the love fly. So today, we are going to be talking about my six favorite romance troupes, in romance books or just romance at all. These aren't really in any order at all, just the ones I love most. So, here we go! ____________________________________________________________________ 6) Enemies to Lovers I just love watching the characters go from hating each others guts to falling head over heels in love with each other. It sucks me in and refuses to let me go until something gives, because usually when it finall

Top Ten Tuesday - Winter 2018 TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is now hosted over at That Artsy Reader Girl . Now I don't usually do a TBR because then the little rebel in me will rebel and I'll read any book but the ones I had planned. I'm weird, I know. It's a problem. But I do have books that I want to read soon if the mood hits me and that's what this list is going to be. In no order whatsoever because I'm also a mood reader... yeah I know, I just keep getting weirder, stick around, it gets worse. 10)  A Court of Frost and Starlight Hope warms the coldest night. Feyre, Rhys, and their close-knit circle of friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly-changed world beyond. But Winter Solstice is finally near, and with it, a hard-earned reprieve. Yet even the festive atmosphere can't keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, she finds that those dearest to her have more wounds than she anticipated--scars that will have far-r
