House of Earth and Blood - Cover Reveal!

Half-Fae, half-human Bryce Quinlan loves her life. By day, she works for an antiquities dealer, selling barely legal magical artifacts, and by night, she parties with her friends, savouring every pleasure Lunathion—otherwise known as Crescent City— has to offer. But it all comes crumbling down when a ruthless murder shakes the very foundations of the city—and Bryce’s world. Two years later, her job has become a dead end, and she now seeks only blissful oblivion in the city’s most notorious nightclubs. But when the murderer attacks again, Bryce finds herself dragged into the investigation and paired with an infamous Fallen angel whose own brutal past haunts his every step. Hunt Athalar, personal assassin for the Archangels, wants nothing to do with Bryce Quinlan, despite being ordered to protect her. She stands for everything he once rebelled against and seems more interested in partying than solving the murder, no matter how close to home it might hit. But Hunt soon realizes the

Undaunted by Ronnie Douglas aka Melissa Marr

Following in the tradition of Kristen Ashley, Joanna Wilde, and Jay Crownover, this first novel in a sexy, dark New Adult series tells the thrilling story of a young woman who finds herself drawn to a Southern motorcycle club’s inner circle—and a dangerously hot biker. Aubrey Evans needs to get her life back on track after her father is indicted for embezzlement. She’ll save college tuition money, hightail it out of small-town Tennessee, and steer clear of hard-muscled boys on motorcycles. Yet there’s no ignoring someone like Zion. A knight in black leather, Zion looks like every bad idea she’s been told to avoid, but she can’t resist him. Whenever she’s in trouble, he’s there. Appealing as his rough exterior may be, it’s the protective, principled man beneath that tempts her like crazy. Zion knows Aubrey doesn’t intend to stick around. She claims to want only friendship, but he senses there’s a naughty girl hiding on the inside—one whose intense desires match his own. For now,

Panic Attack: Young Radicals in the Age of Trump by Robby Soave - Review

Since the 2016 election, college campuses have erupted in violent protests, demands for safe spaces, and the silencing of views that activist groups find disagreeable. Who are the leaders behind these protests, and what do they want? In Panic Attack, libertarian journalist Robby Soave answers these questions by profiling young radicals from across the political spectrum. Millennial activism has risen to new heights in the age of Trump. Although Soave may not personally agree with their motivations and goals, he takes their ideas seriously, approaching his interviews with a mixture of respect and healthy skepticism. The result is a faithful cross-section of today's radical youth, which will appeal to libertarians, conservatives, centrist liberals, and anyone who is alarmed by the trampling of free speech and due process in the name of social justice. Book Breakdown My rating: 4 of 5 Pink Sticky Stars *I received this for free in exchange for an honest review* I d

(A Very Late) - April Wrap Up!

Storm & Fury by JLA - ARC Review

Eighteen-year-old Trinity Marrow may be going blind, but she can see and communicate with ghosts and spirits. Her unique gift is part of a secret so dangerous that she’s been in hiding for years in an isolated compound fiercely guarded by Wardens—gargoyle shape-shifters who protect humankind from demons. If the demons discover the truth about Trinity, they’ll devour her, flesh and bone, to enhance their own powers. When Wardens from another clan arrive with disturbing reports that something out there is killing both demons and Wardens, Trinity’s safe world implodes. Not the least because one of the outsiders is the most annoying and fascinating person she’s ever met. Zayne has secrets of his own that will upend her world yet again—but working together becomes imperative once demons breach the compound and Trinity’s secret comes to light. To save her family and maybe the world, she’ll have to put her trust in Zayne. But all bets are off as a supernatural war is unleashed… ARC B

50/50 Friday - Freebie! (Best/Worst Book an Author has Published

50/50 Friday is a weekly meme hosted by myself and the wonderful Laura from Blue Eye Books . What is 50/50 Friday?  Everyone has a favorite and then we also have something we dislike. Like a coin, there are two sides to every question. Example: best sequel you've read/worst sequel you've read. This month is all about the freebies! So I decided to go back and find a topic from way back in 2016. Right when this meme was just a month old. That topic is: Best/Worst Book an Author has Published Last time I chose Veronica Roth and I wanted to keep her but my opinion of her books has changed since then. So here we go!  Worst Book It's been years since I read this book so I don't remember all the details but I know that I hated this book. I LOVED Divergent and still do.... the rest of the series and with the ending... I'm not a fan of bitter sweet or even sad endings. So this one wasn't for me.  Best Book ( Review ) I won't say much about this because I have a huge

Review - The Dark Earth Manga (Volume 1)

Aidan has always dreamed of a different life, one that was somehow more than what he knew. Desperate times force him and his adoptive family to move to Grandfather Patrick’s house on Devil’s Ridge, a tiny, rural town, that is far more than what it seems. On the Ridge, Aidan finds a world filled with magic, monsters and terrifying beauty. He has discovered his “different life” but it isn’t at all what he expected, and not all of it is good. With most of the townspeople involved in the Clan, a dark cult, and Grandfather Patrick as the Clan’s head, Aidan knows he isn’t just imagining that the whole town is out to get him. When Aidan is lured by an ancient force literally in his own backyard, he is rescued by the mysterious and handsome Asher Vane, who his grandfather calls a “demon”. Is Asher something terrible? More importantly, is Aidan? Manga Breakdown My rating: 4 of 5 Pink Sticky Stars I did read this from the website Raythe Reign so nothing was censored by A

His Little Wife Lie Book Blitz

His Little Wife Lie  Sloan Storm  Publication date: April 26th 2019 Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romance IT’S NOT A LIE IF WE BELIEVE IT’S TRUE. That’s what Griff Foster said right after he asked me to be his wife. Sweet, isn’t he? Let’s be real: his proposal had nothing to do with romance. Falling in love isn’t in his DNA. With piercing blue eyes and a hard body to match, he goes through women like candy. But he saved my life. I promised I’d repay him. I should learn when to keep my mouth shut. Griff needs a Mrs. Right Now, and he’s convinced I’m the perfect actress. In case I have any doubts, there are seven badly needed zeroes on a check with my name on it to help make up my mind. Ugh. We’re totally fake. Nothing but lies. Except the way his lips feel on mine. Except the way his touch sets my body ablaze. Except the way my soul aches when he looks into my eyes. He says that without me, he loses everything. But if I’ve go
