50/50 Friday - Favorite/Least Favorite Book with a Pink Cover

What is 50/50 Friday? Everyone has a favorite and then we also have something we dislike. Like a coin, there are two sides to every question. Example: best sequel you've read/worst sequel you've read. So that's what 50/50 Friday is all about. I'll have a new topic every Friday. If you have have ideas for this meme don't be scared to let me know! Topic for the Week Favorite/Least Favorite Book with a Pink Cover  Least Favorite Book with a Pink Cover Perfect (Pretty Little Liars #3) This is kind of cheating as I've not read this book but I read the first two and didn't like them... so I'm sure I'd not like this one either. Favorite Book with a Pink Cover The Iron Queen (The Iron Fey #3) Sadly, I've still never finished this series. It was huge when I started blogging in 2014 but now... no one ever talks about it.  Topic for Next Week Best/Worst Read of June You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

Learn how to give amazingly accurate and insightful tarot readings with little or no guesswork. This revolutionary guide, written by a tarot master with thirty-two years of experience, reveals a simple, proven system that makes reading cards in a spread nearly as straightforward as reading words on a page. The Language of Tarot presents an innovative system that treats tarot as a science. Author Jeannie Reed discovered that when the same two or three cards appeared together, it always meant the same issue in a client's life. This amazing book reveals what she learned, translating each combination for you and supplying examples that support each lesson until you are fluent in the language of tarot. Mini Book Breakdown  5 out of 5 Pink Sticky Stars *I received this title in exchange for an honest review.* I've never heard of Tarot being done this way. Not once. This book even takes place close to a breach if I remember correctly. It's a great story and the HBO show is amazing!!!! Worst Beach Read I mean.. you have to pay so much attention to characters, plots, and worrying who's going to die next. Cruel Intentions by Siobhan Davis

In the power struggle between two elite groups, one feisty girl will bring them to their knees…  Life is a cruel game where only the most ruthless survive. It’s a truth my mother rebelled against, and she paid for it with her life. Now, I play their game. Publicly accepting the destiny that lies in wait for me when I turn eighteen. But, behind closed doors, I plot my escape.  Trent, Charlie, and my twin, Drew, rule the hallways of Rydeville High with arrogance and an iron fist. I execute my role perfectly, hating every second, but they never let me forget my place in this world.  Everyone obeys the rules. They have for generations. Because our families have always been in control. Until Cam, Sawyer, and Jackson show up. Throwing their new money around. Challenging the status quo. Setting hearts racing with their gorgeous faces, hot bodies, and bad boy attitudes. Battle lines are drawn. Sides are taken. And I’m trapped in the middle, because I made a mistake

A Conversation Between a Harry Potter Fan and a Non Harry Potter Fan

I recently asked my partner some Harry Potter (HP) questions. He loves that series, has read all the books and seen all the movies. So I wanted to see his answers to my questions. He was kind enough to indulge me.  Me: What does HP mean to you? Him: I don't know. I'm not one of those overly sappy people whose emotions are tied to books and movies. It was a good time in my life. It was something I enjoyed. HP was the series that got me into reading. I wasn't really a reader before that. Me: You're not really a reader now.  Him: True.  Me: I love that some books just have that kind of power. Like Twilight, I can't tell you how many bloggers I've met that tell me Twilight was how they got into reading. I like that's nifty. It's nice that these books come along and turn people into readers. Well, did you read much after HP? Him: A little bit. You have to remember, the HP books finished in 2007. That was two years before I turned 1

My Top Ten Favorite Bands/Singers

If you've been around my little corner of the internet for any length of time at all, you'll know that I love music. I often read while listening to music, always have it going in the car and also at home whenever my partner is gone (he hates my music tastes and I don't like his).  So I've got some favorite bands/singers that I wanted to share. I did this list years go and my taste has changed a lot! This isn't in a certain order as I could never choose that. So let's jump into this!  Honorable Mentions  Girls Generation (before Jessica was kicked out) SHINee (RIP Jonghyun) Paramore Within Temptation 10) Inkubus Sukkubus  This is a Pagan folk/rock band. If you like classical music, you'll love his stuff. 8) SVRCINA I

Accidental Knight Blitz

Accidental Knight Nicole Snow Publication date: May 28th 2019 Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romance Accidentally wed to a man I’ve never met… I inherited a freaking husband. Grandpa’s will was a shocker: huge fortune, gorgeous ranch, and the best horse ever. The fine print? Marrying Mr. Grump-alicious. The man who’s supposed to protect me from…what, exactly? That’s what I hope to find out if Drake Larkin ever talks. I know what I’m in for the first time his glance tears me open. A broody enigma who’s large and in charge. A mute who curls my toes when he barks a few words. A silly, shameful, is-this-real-life crush I can’t afford. Did I mention our pretend marriage-rodeo lasts six damn months? Long enough to teach my heart cartwheels. Time enough to seal this madness with a kiss. Insane enough for secrets to slip – and sting. Grandpa’s last wishes scare me. So do Drake’s real motives. But it’s my beast of a “husband” who makes ridiculous seem right. Have I
